This year’s Annual Dinner trumped success, all with the help from guest speaker, Mr. Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions of the Trump Organization. Mr. Trump spoke on a variety of topics including his foundation, The Eric Trump Foundation, which Mr. Trump and a group of friends collectively founded in 2007. The Eric Trump Foundation strives to improve the lives of children battling life threatening diseases at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Mr. Trump, in lieu of a personal stipend for speaking, accepted a donation to The Eric Trump Foundation who in turn made a donation to a local charity, The Anthony J. Rinaldi, Jr. Foundation for Children with Cancer. The Anthony J. Rinaldi, Jr. Foundation raises money and awareness for organizations that assist families with financial and emotional burdens of caring for a child with cancer.
“It was truly an honor to be the keynote speaker at the Scranton Chamber of Commerce Dinner. The event was a tremendous success and it was great to connect with individuals who actively dominate the manufacturing enterprises that continue to comprise the greater Scranton business sector. Additionally, it was a fantastic opportunity to make a donation on behalf of The Eric Trump Foundation to The Anthony J. Rinaldi Jr., Foundation. There is no better collaboration than bringing successful, like-minded business leaders together in the spirit of philanthropy,” said Mr. Trump.
